Raf Simons is quitting his position as artistic director of women’s haute couture, ready-to-wear and accessory collections of Dior.
PARIS, France — Raf Simons exits Dior after three-and-a-half year as its Creative Director. He was hired in 2012 to carry on Dior’s iconic style into the 21th century. Simons did not comment why he is leaving the French Couture House, it is only stated that his decision was a consequence of personal reasons.
The chariman and chief executive officer of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton Bernard Arnault and Christian Dior SA, and Sidney Toledano, chief executive officer of Christian Dior Couture thanked Simons for his exceptional work during his time at Dior. And now the question is: who will suceed him?
